Dr. Srividya Srinivasamaharaj (Dr. Maharaj) is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Hematology, and Medical Oncology. She practices community oncology with a clinical focus on breast and gastrointestinal malignancies, providing comprehensive care across the continuum of cancer diagnosis, treatment, and survivorship. In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Maharaj serves on the Board of Directors of the Georgia Society of Clinical Oncology (GASCO) and is a faculty member at Mercer University School of Medicine and the Edward via College of osteopathic medicine (VCOM), where she is actively involved in the education and mentorship of future physicians. Dr. Maharaj is involved in clinical research and has contributed to multiple peer-reviewed publications. She serves as a clinical trial investigator on several oncology studies, helping bring emerging therapies to patients through participation in clinical research. Dr. Maharaj’s professional interests include breast cancer, gastrointestinal oncology, medical education, and advancing the delivery of high-quality cancer care in the community setting. She is committed to combining the latest scientific evidence with a personalized approach to treatment, emphasizing clear communication, shared decision making, and compassionate care for every patient and family she serves. Outside of medicine, Dr. Maharaj enjoys spending time with her family and gardening.
